Are you a champion? Mbody is seeking staff from all areas of the University to be Wellness Champions to promote and be advocates for the Mbody wellness program. Mbody needs Wellness Champions from both Academic and Professional Services and will be getting together to explore how we can improve wellness on and off campus and conducting formal Wellness Champion training with Healthier Workplaces WA in the near future. See this flyer for more information about what being a Wellness Champion involves, and how to nominate yourself. There’s no real time commitment involved, that is, you can put in as much or as little time as you can. It’s about promoting Mbody to your colleagues, letting me, your Wellness Officer know what’s working (and what’s not) and letting me know what people are after from their wellness program. Occasionally, I’ll ask for some help to spread the word about different initiatives, and of course, it’d be fantastic to see you participating in as many initiatives as you can, too!
