Replacement Filing Cabinets If you have a filing cabinet that is broken or doesn't have an anti-tilt mechanism, the University has an excess stock of new filing cabinets available for exchange. The Property, Development and Commercial Services Office (PDCSO) is offering staff members a chance to replace filing cabinets in their work area that are broken or not fitted with an anti-tilt mechanism (i.e. you can open more than one drawer at once). The 30 replacement filing cabinets are 4 drawers deep, measuring 620mm (d) x 470mm (w) x 1320mm (h). They are fitted with heavy duty, double extension runners, giving a storage capacity of 35kg per drawer. Borrowing from Henry Ford, staff members can have a filing cabinet painted any colour that they want, so long as it is light grey! If you would like to register to have your old filing cabinet exchanged, please email fm.helpdesk@murdoch.edu.au specifying the building and room number. We will arrange a convenient time to make the swap after the Semester 2 exam period is completed. This offer is available only to Murdoch University staff members for use on campus.
