Human research ethics update New National Statement: Full implementation by 1 January 2019 The new National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (National Statement) was released in July 2018 and will be fully implemented by 1 January 2019. Researchers must ensure that the current National Statement is being used in developing the research proposals, making submissions for ethics review and undertaking ethics review.
