Free Influenza Immunisation for Students and Staff Help Protect yourself and those around you by coming along to one of three Murdoch Wellness Days Murdoch University's Department of Safety Health and Wellbeing, Health: Medical Service and the Discipline of Nursing are providing three on campus wellness collaboration days. Our aim is to promote health and illness prevention to Murdoch staff and students by offering the following: Free influenza immunisations Blood pressure tests Diabetes tests, including blood glucose tests Cholesterol and weight checks The wellness days have been scheduled to occur in May as per advice from the Department of Health, Communicable Disease Control. Influenza circulation in WA is usually highest between July and October each year, optimal protection against influenza occurs within the first 3-4 months following vaccination. Our May wellness days will not only ensure you recieve optimal protection for the upcoming influenza season but also provides the opportunity for a general health and wellbeing check to see you through the winter months. Events Dates South Street Campus: Bush Court Wednesday 22nd May 9am-3.00pm Tuesday 28th May 9am-3.00 pm Mandurah Campus: Building 101 Thursday 2nd May 9am-3.00pm For staff and domestic students, please ensure you bring your Medicare card with you, international students please bring your OSHC insurance card.
