25 Feb 2014Whale Sharks need you!Whale shark research is being pioneered at Murdoch University - but some extra help is needed, including: i) building a simple SmartPhone App, ii) basic code fixes for pattern recognition software, iii) a design project for electronic tagging equipment; iv) drafting media articles / online news updates; v) web maintenance, vi) whale shark data entry, vii) input to the design of education materials for primary and high school students (related to shark conservation ).

18 Feb 2014Changes to available options when you are unable to sit an examA recent review of the Rules for the Conduct of Exams has changed the options available to you when extenuating circumstances prevent you from sitting an exam at the required date, time and location. The previously available option of applying to sit an exam at a different location, is no longer available for normal and deferred exams. It is still available in extenuating circumstances for supplementary exams.
