29 Apr 2016Cultural and Diversity Inclusive Practice (CDIP) ToolkitThe Cultural and Diversity Inclusive Practice (CDIP) Toolkit, created by Flinders University and adapted with permissioned by Murdoch University in 2013, was customised by the Equity and Social Inclusion Office (ESI) in consultation with a wide range of Murdoch staff and students. The CDIP Toolkit has recently been updated and edited by ESI. With extensive input from Kulbardi, the Toolkit includes a newly revised folio - Indigenous Terms and Protocols.

29 Apr 2016Bring a mug, plant a tree during the month of May at Bang Bang Coffee CartPurchase your hot drink with your own cup or mug at the Bang Bang Pop up coffee cart during the month of May. For every reusable cup or mug filled at Bang Bang, the Murdoch Environmental Restoration Group (MERG) will provide a native tree or bush to be planted in the campus’ beautiful Chelodina Wetland at their community planting event on Friday, 3 June (World Environment Day). The Bang Bang coffee cart is located on level 2 of the ECL Building and is open from 8-3pm, Monday to Friday.

National Indigenous Tertiary Education Student Games 2016The National Indigenous Tertiary Education Student Games (NITESG) 2016 are being held in Brisbane and hosted by Australian Catholic University. The NITESG is a unique event that brings together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander University students to one location for a week of sports, socialising and networking. Students from around the country participate in mixed sports including netball, basketball, volleyball and touch football.

You can join PASS in any week throughout the Semester – so if you are starting to find a subject challenging or would like to consolidate your understanding before assessment time PASS is a great option. Think "super group" learning! The most obvious result of PASS is that students who attend regularly consistently earn a higher grade and withdraw less often than those who do not attend.
