COVID-19 Update: 11 October 2021

Published: 11th October 2021

If you have visited an exposure site, you must get a COVID-19 test.

Following the WA Health announcement yesterday, Murdoch University students and staff must get tested for COVID-19 and self-quarantine until they receive a negative result if they have visited one of the Perth and wider WA exposure sites.

The WA Government currently advises there is low risk to the community, and there are no changes to Western Australian COVID-19 restrictions and disease protection measures.

The University's Crisis Incident Management Team (CIMT) remains activated and will advise further updates as required.

SafeWA QR Codes

We also remind everyone to continue to scan the sign-posted venue QR codes upon entry to campus venues using the SafeWA mobile app. Murdoch University has more than 90 unique QR codes, so it is important you scan the QR code each time you enter a different building.
