Digital Futures Academy courses – special offer to current postgraduate students

To support our focus on being a creative force for current and future generations, Murdoch University has launched a series of Academies. These centres of excellence and specialisation will enhance existing learning and development in specific areas of professional and personal interest.


We are excited to announce the Digital Futures Academy will offer three exciting new courses. Enrolments are now open. Courses start on 8 November and registrations are due by 4 November.

The Digital Futures Academy

The Digital Futures Academy will provide innovative and industry-led courses to train the technologists of the future.

Following on from the successful Architecture of the Internet of Things course – delivered in partnership with CISCO – we are partnering with a range of industries to bring you current, relevant and innovative courses based on industry demand.

With flexible learning on offer, the Digital Futures Academy offers courses to improve your ability to thrive in the digital world by enhancing digital and business knowledge and skills through industry supported, cross-disciplinary, micro-credential learning.

The courses will be self-paced, with a total of 60 hours over six weeks and comprised of a combination of online, face-to-face and assessment work. Face-to-face sessions will be held on evenings or weekends for a total of 12 hours at the Murdoch University Perth CBD campus.

Completion of a course will grant 1.5 credit points that can be used towards a Murdoch University Business or IT postgraduate course and/or contribute towards a future Graduate Certificate.

The first courses to be delivered are:

Standard course fees are $1,500. However, for a limited number of Murdoch University postgraduate students, we are offering the courses with a 50% discount for those who are first to register.
