The 2021 #itsinthebag campaign will run from 20 November, until 2 December with drop points in Geoffrey Bolton Library, at the Chancellery Building and the Counselling Service on Bush Court.
The University is pleased to support Share the Dignity and their #itsinthebag campaign that directly benefits women in crisis, who may be fleeing domestic violence situations with little but the clothes on their back.
Here’s how it works: Choose a handbag in good condition that you no longer use to fill with items such as sanitary pads and tampons, personal hygiene products, and everyday luxuries that could make a woman feel special.
