The person undertook a rapid antigen test and self-reported the positive result to the Department of Health.

The Department of Health contacts all confirmed cases to identify and informs close contacts. As part of the contact tracing process, contact tracers speak to positive cases and determine where they have been in the days they are possibly infectious.

If you attended Buildings 100 and 101 at Murdoch University’s Mandurah campus at the above time and you are experiencing any symptoms you should get tested immediately and isolate until you receive a negative result. This applies to anyone symptomatic – even if you have not visited a listed exposure site.

As is standard, where there is a confirmed positive contact on campus the relevant campus space will be deep cleaned as per the Department of Health Guidelines.
