Resumption of University travel

In response to COVID-19 and the closure of the WA border, travel restrictions have been in place at Murdoch University for some time.

Got something in mind? All travel must be approved by your Unit Coordinator, who will be able to seek the necessary approvals on your behalf. 

New platform to book travel

Trobexis, our long serving travel approval platform, and the Student Travel Registry are being retired on Wednesday, 25 May. These will be replaced by Locomote in July 2022.

During this short gap between platforms, all new travel requests will require a manual travel form to be completed – this includes any University related travel that is 100kms (or more) from your regular place of residence, irrespective of funding source or traveller type (e.g., staff, student or guest).

To access this form, you will need to login using your Murdoch user name and password.

This form will be actioned by Murdoch University’s Travel Office to ensure compliance with the overarching travel policy while the Locomote implementation is completed.
