Ramadan is a time of reflection, fasting, and spiritual growth for Muslims around the world. We would like to extend our warmest wishes to our Muslim community members who will be observing Ramadan this year.
We would also like to acknowledge the start of the Iranian New Year, or Nowruz, which marks the beginning of spring and is celebrated by millions of people worldwide. Nowruz is a time for renewal, reflection, and connecting with family and friends. We would like to extend our warmest wishes to our Iranian community members as they celebrate this important occasion.
At Murdoch University, we value and celebrate the diverse cultures and traditions of our community members. We encourage all students and staff to embrace cultural differences, learn from one another, and foster an inclusive and respectful environment for all.
Muslim prayer room can be found in the Education & Humanities Building (room: EH1.009) and Friday prayer is held at the Worship Centre.
Wishing you all a peaceful and joyful Ramadan and Nowruz.
