Rachel is a Research and Teaching Academic at Murdoch University. In research, she is motivated to inform restoration and conservation practice with science. In 2022, Rachel won a Fulbright Scholar Award to visit the University of Wyoming in the United States of America. It was an opportunity of a lifetime. Her US research explored the contribution of soil microbes to rangeland restoration.
In this talk, she will describe the experiments she developed with her hosts, an add-on project, some initial findings, and finally, the ripple-effects of the experience.
