Women in STEMM: Murdoch University Research Symposium 2023 will be held on Thursday 9 November 2023: 9:30am – 2.30pm at Murdoch University (KBLT). The program will comprise two keynote addresses, a research team feature presentation, individual research presentations from outstanding female researchers, and a catered lunch. 

After great feedback from 2022, we wish to involve other researchers who can share their research via poster presentations or short oral presentations. The poster presentations be on display in the foyer for all attendees to see before the event and during the lunch break. This will allow for researchers to showcase their work and will also provide a great opportunity to network with those attending the conference! This year, the symposium has a particular focus on 'the new era of research' and how technology and new innovations (this can be new techniques, processes, or paradigms) have been built into the development of your research. Along with your abstract submission, we ask that you consider how your research links to this theme and address this in your abstract as per the guidelines provided. 

Please take careful note of the abstract submission guidelines. Any submissions not within the guidelines will not be considered. Also, please note that the submission deadline is Monday 25 September at 5pm AWST. No late submissions will be accepted.
