Murdoch University is proud to unveil our event for International Women's Day. The theme of IWD 2024 is 'Inspire Inclusion', and in our second year of the Ngala Kwop Biddi strategy, we reaffirm our commitment to championing Indigenous Knowledge and equity, diversity, and inclusion, by revealing that our first space on campus named after a woman will be posthumously named in honour of Dr Rosemary van den Berg, Noongar Elder, Murdoch University Lecturer, Writer, Historian, and the first Aboriginal woman in Western Australia to achieve a PhD.
Join us online to celebrate International Women's Day, March 8, for the naming of the Rosemary van den Berg Room.
