Annual vaccination is the most important method to prevent the spread of the influenza (flu) virus. To support optimum immunity during Perth’s peak flu season, the Murdoch University Medical Service will be hosting influenza vaccination clinics in early May.
Flu shots will be provided free of charge to students at the clinics:
Bookings can be made for the South Street clinic online.
On the day of your appointment, please bring your Medicare card or overseas health insurance details, your completed Influenza Vaccine Consent Form and wear clothing that has easy access to your upper arm.
If you happen to be unwell and are unable to attend, please call Murdoch University Medical Service on (08) 9360 2293 to make alternative arrangements.
To minimise the risk of transmission of respiratory illnesses to others, we ask that if you are experiencing any symptoms of respiratory illness such as fever, cough, sore throat, or runny nose that you please call Murdoch University Medical Service for advice before your appointment.
