  Free wristbands, stickers, and information from the EDI team.

• The Den: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  Enjoy free nail painting, face painting, and get tie-dye socks and shoelaces.

• The Library: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  Pick up free badges and participate in a badge-making activity.

Friday, 30 August

  Show your support by wearing purple to campus.

Wear It Purple Day has been designed to foster awareness, encourage meaningful opportunities, create a supportive and safe space, and unite with other organisations to further inclusion initiatives. Remember, the conversations and support shouldn’t end here.

Murdoch University is committed to ensuring a safe space for our LGBTIQA+ community. There are plenty of resources and ways to get involved, find help, or offer support:

• MurdochSafe App: Download and become familiar with the MurdochSafe App, which includes to access LGBTIQA+ Support (under University Support) and a place where discrimination and harassment can be confidentially reported to the University.
• Health and wellbeing support: Free confidential support with an experienced counsellor is available to all enrolled students. A range of support services and materials is also available through the University Counselling Service resources page.
• LGBTIQA+ Support Group: Express your interest in joining by emailing counsellingservice@murdoch.edu.au or calling (08) 9360 1227
