Did you know that Murdoch Psychology Clinic (MPC) offers free services to students? Whether you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or just need someone to talk to, professional support is available to help you navigate university life and beyond.
MPC is an inclusive and welcoming training and research clinic providing an extensive range of services to the general community. Their services are provided by AHPRA-registered provisional psychologists completing post graduate clinical training under close supervision from qualified clinical psychologists.
At the Murdoch Psychology Clinic, they offer individual, group, and family-based interventions for broad range of concerns:
- Anxiety, worry and stress
- Depression and mood disorders
- Emotion regulation
- Sleep problems
- Life transition, adjustment difficulties, bereavement and grief
- Trauma and loss
- Behavioural, emotional & adjustment
- Problems in childhood and adolescence
- Social skills & communications difficulties
- Obsessive-compulsive related disorders
- Neurodiversity support
- Relationship issues.
They are an accessible service and welcome children, young people, adults and older adults from all backgrounds and cultures.
Located at the Murdoch University Perth Campus (Room 1.030, Building 440), they are a low fee service and offer discounts for concession card holders. Murdoch University students can access our service for free.
