Are you passionate about empowering young people and fostering positive change? The Wheatbelt & Beyond Youth Mentoring (WBYM) program is seeking dedicated mentors to support regional, rural, and remote high school students across Western Australia.
About WBYM:
WBYM is a not-for-profit organisation providing online school-based mentorship to students in years 7-10. Their mission is to broaden the horizons of these students by building self-confidence, well-being, and aspirations through a supportive network of mentors, families, communities, and organisations.
Why mentor with them?
- Flexible Commitment: Mentors are asked to commit to a minimum of one email per week, making it easy to fit into your schedule.?
- Comprehensive Support: All mentors receive online training and have access to 24/7 support, ensuring you feel confident in your role.?
- Community Engagement: Opportunities to participate in face-to-face activities and visit mentees' local communities, enriching your mentoring experience.?
How to Get Involved:
- Apply Online: Visit the website and complete the mentor application form.
- Obtain Clearances: You'll need a current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance. If you don't have these yet, we can assist you in the application process.?
