Want to start learning Australian Sign Language (Auslan) on campus? Access and Inclusion is excited to bring Introduction to Auslan training to campus and invites all interested students to join. This is a great opportunity to build basic communication skills and gain confidence using Auslan.

Courses offered:

Introduction to Auslan 1

Designed for people with no previous knowledge of Auslan, this course covers the basics of everyday communication, fingerspelling, and practical vocabulary.

  • Dates: Tuesday, 24 Feb – 31 Mar 2026
  • Time: 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Introduction to Auslan 2

Build on the skills from Introduction 1 and expand your Auslan communication and vocabulary.

  • Dates: Tuesday, 14 Apr – 19 May 2026
  • Time: 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Cost: 

Cost to students is $105.50 (subsidised by Access & Inclusion)
