Students of all abilities are invited to come together for a morning of inclusive sport in the All Abilities Cup, taking place on Wednesday 22nd April, 9am-1pm, at the UWA sports hall.
Delivered in partnership with Volleyball WA, Rebound WA, Unisport and WAAAFA, the All Abilities Cup is designed to create a welcoming, supportive environment where everyone - regardless of ability, experience or sporting background - can participate, connect and have fun.
The event will give participants the opportunity to try three inclusive sports through a rotating format:
- Seated Volleyball
- Wheelchair Basketball
- Wheelchair AFL
Each sport will be played one after the other, allowing participants to take part in all activities if they choose. No prior experience or special equipment is required. Playing chairs for wheelchair basketball and AFL will be provided on the day, meaning participants do not need to own or bring their own equipment, but can do so if they wish.
The All Abilities cup is open to any students who are interested in inclusive sport. Places are limited and students are encouraged to register early.
