Murdoch Business School, supported by the Malka Foundation, is offering Startup Microgrants of up to $5,000 to help student entrepreneurs explore, develop and validate their business ideas.

What's on offer?

• Funding of up to $5,000
• Support to help bring your startup idea to life
• An opportunity to build your entrepreneurial skills, confidence and direction
• Up to 12 months of funding support

How it works

1. Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) form.
2. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to pitch their startup idea.
3. Two successful applicants will receive funding.

Timeline

June 2026 – Applications open
August 2026 – Applications close
Late September 2026 – Pitching event
Mid-October 2026 – Winners announced
