The Big Meet Careers Fair is back! A Careers Week Event


Date: 07th March 2014
Time: 12:00 PM - 16:00 PM

Location: The Big Meet (Perth): Perth Convention Exhibition Centre, Perth City (near Esplanade Train Station).

The Big Meet is a national careers expo for all students and recent graduates. It is an important calendar event for all current Murdoch students. Over 100 organisations will be exhibiting in Perth (and other major capital cities) for 2014.

With over 100 employer representatives keen to speak to students, this career event is the perfect opportunity to network and find out exactly what they are looking for. 

A range of options are offered including; graduate employment, voluntary work, internships, vacation work, post graduate studies, travel and overseas opportunities. Entry is free for current students.

Recent Murdoch graduate Michael Doorn went along to the Big Meet in his final year and spoke to a employer representative from the Dept. of Finance.  Michael was offered useful tips to improve his Graduate Program application, which helped him get the job!  Prior to the Big Meet Michael had not considered a career in finance and he has now progressed to the role of Business Analyst, with the Dept. of Finance in Canberra.  Play it smart and you too could get the insider information at The Big Meet. 

Visit the Careers and Employment Centre Marquee on Bush Court, Murdoch Campus during Careers Week between 3 - 6 March for preparation activities and tips to impress employers at the Big Meet.
