Get on-board the professional networking site, LinkedIn, and instantly join a professional network of students/graduates, employees, recruiters and companies/organisations. With 200 million LinkedIn users world wide and over 4 million in Australia, it's an easy way to get your resume information / personal brand out there. This interactive workshop will help you create a LinkedIn Profile (on-line resume) that will attract the attention of employers and recruiters. - Find out how to showcase what you have to offer and what sets you apart from others. - Have a go at creating or up-dating your own LinkedIn profile and making the most of this important job search/personal branding tool. NOTE: Be sure to come by the Careers & Employment Centre across Bush Court AFTER this workshop to have your LinkedIn profile photo taken in a fully sponsored CPA Photobooth. The booth will be on-campus between 11am - 1pm on the 4th March. Your photo can be emailed directly to you to help complete your LinkedIn profile. A repeat workshop will be offered in the afternoon for those who miss out on the morning session (1.30 - 2.30pm, Tues 4th March in GCL1). Come by the Careers & Employment Centre earlier for your photo (between 11am - 1pm). All students and recent graduates are welcome to attend.
