Gender Differences in Leadership: MSEL Leadership Talk

Special guest presenter: Final year Murdoch student, Charlie Caruso (Director / Founder Puggle Media, International Speaker and Author)

Whilst completing her International Business (Chinese) degree at Murdoch University, Charlie Caruso has been busy forging an impressive and dynamic career.

Despite having not yet graduated from university, Charlie has already been formally recognised for her contribution to ICT within the start-up space - her first start-up, PuggleFM (disruptive radio model for parents) was listed in Shoe String Australia's Top 10 Start-ups for 2013.  She also won the Women in Business Award (Australian Excellence Awards) in March last year and has been a finalist for various other small business awards.

Furthermore, Charlie has become a sought after international speaker who has presented at various events in London, New York and throughout Australia on topics such as:

• Understanding Y - & Y it’s important you do
• The Media Revolution : The end of an era in a time of disruption
• Start-me-UP - What industry could learn from the start-up sensation.

Charlie is passionate about the new world of work and leadership in the 21st Century and has recently co-authored a book to be launched in July this year entitled “Understanding Y” (www.understandingy.com). 

Come and hear Charlie talk about gender differences in leadership, and her experiences has an emerging leader.
