Dr Julia Hobson provides a useful insight into what it is to be a critical thinker. She also discusses why leaders value this skill and its importance in the context of the workplace. Find out how to set yourself apart when impressing prospective employers. This presentation is part of the Murdoch Student Emerging Leaders (MSEL) Talk series. Julia has worked for the past 12 years in the Centre for University Teaching and Learning at Murdoch University. She is primarily focussed on developing and delivering seminars and workshops for postgraduate students. Julia also coordinates an undergraduate elective unit TLC277 "From University to Workplace". This unit aims to enhance students' career development and their transition to the culture of the workplace. Bookings are not required to attend but come early to secure a good seat.
