Holy Mass - For Peace in Iraq.

There is something you and I can do - Pray for PEACE in IRAQ.Tuesdays 19th & 26th August in the Worship Centre at 12.30pm

It is like it has ceased to be news - bad news for that matter; to watch, read and listen to the devastating consequences of the raging war in Iraq. Children dying, people fleeing their homes and country, losing their loved ones and all their livelihood. Because we are geographically far from these sad events; it's never the less to say we are not concerned or touched by them. We feel helpless because there is nothing we can do from where we are to help just save one life. As our political and security leaders do their bit to save the day, I invite you to spare just half an hour of your week to come and join us in prayer for PEACE IN IRAQ. This will be at our weekly Mass for the next two weeks on Tuesdays (19th & 26th August) at 12.30pm in the Worship Centre. I hope we at Murdoch University can lead the way. Because here at Murdoch University, we care about our world.  I invite both students and staff; Christians and non-Christians alike.
