Free Workshop on Professional Presentation: Pitching your Ideas to Important Stakeholders

A free workshop for postgraduates (all courses, all levels) on perfecting your pitch to funding bodies, government panels, potential business partners or employers, and other stakeholders who could help make your ideas into reality. Undergraduates are invited to register, and will be granted places if space permits.

• Do you have a research project that could lead to policy or social entrepreneurship, innovation or knowledge transfer?
• Do you have the makings of a great business plan, that could benefit society or the environment, but need practice in perfecting your pitch to potential investors and business partners?
• Do you wish to build an organisation or network of people with similar ideas about beneficial social or environmental change? Want to learn how to persuade them to join you?

If you need to convince stakeholders to support your ideas or plans, then the Murdoch University Postgraduate Student Association (MUPSA), invites you to this free and catered workshop, which will help you develop your skills in professional presentation.

This highly interactive and fun workshop will be facilitated by Dr. Abby Jandro, organisation consultant and executive business coach. Founder and owner of Untapped Capability Pty. Ltd., Dr. Jandro has worked with numerous organisations and managers, helping them realise their goals of improving team effectiveness. Dr. Jandro's expertise in psychology, business and cross-cultural competence has enabled her clients to build strong leadership competencies and resources.

This three hour workshop will have you pitching with confidence by developing the following skills:

• managing your anxiety
• maintaining an effective presence
• knowing your audience.
