Free Training Sessions at Murdoch University for the HBF R4R

The School of Psychology and Exercise Science provides a free training program for individuals considering participation in the 2013 HBF Run for a Reason (Sunday, 26th May). The training sessions occur Monday and Wednesday evenings (5:30-6:30pm), on campus (we start at Bush Court adjacent to the sporting courts), and includes a 10-week program from 2nd April to 22nd May.


The 10-week training program, provided Monday and Wednesday (5:30-6:30pm) will be offered to all staff.  The training sessions are organised into beginner, moderate, and advanced levels of fitness and confidence with exercise.  The sessions are provided by Exercise Science stuents and overseen by Dr. Tim Fairchild and Mr. Matthew Burgin. The aim of the training sessions is to assist participants interested in the HBF Run for a Reason (Sunday, 26th May) with a training period to be more prepared and confident to reach their fitness goals. The training sessions are open to all, whether your intention is to participate in the HBF Run for a Reason event or not.

Date: starts Wednesday 2nd April, and is provided rain or shine on consequective Monday and Wednesday nights until 22nd May.

The venue: starts from Bush Court adjacent to the sporting courts. However the training often makes use of as much of the campus as possible.
