At its meeting on 2 November 2017, the University's Academic Council approved amendments to the Assessment Policy and related documents which change students eligibility for Supplementary Assessment

The changes allow students with a mark from 40 to 49% to be offered supplementary assessment where the Unit Coordinator decides that a further opportunity to demonstrate achievement of the Unit's Learning Outcomes is warranted. The change applies to all units commencing on or after 1 August 2016.
