Help Murdoch 'close the gap' during Reconciliation Action Week Date: 30th May 2013 Time: 15:30 PM - 17:30 PM Location: Brian Hill Lecture Theatre, South Street Campus As part of Murdoch University’s commitment to reconciliation, staff, students and members of the public are invited to attend a special event this Thursday. Held in the Brian Hill Lecture Theatre from 3.30pm, the event will explore the ways Murdoch University is working towards equity for Aboriginal Peoples in the areas of Governance, Teaching and Learning, Research, External Engagement and Human Resources. The Honourable Fred Chaney AO, former Senator of Western Australia and an active advocate for Aboriginal issues since the 1970s, will provide the keynote address. Attendees will also be invited to provide feedback and ask questions about Murdoch University’s draft Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
