Get Paid $30 per hour and work for a university!
Dear Students,
Are you interested in becoming a Peer Leader in Australia’s most awarded peer mentoring program?
The PASS Program is an academic assistance program which provided regularly scheduled, peer-facilitated study sessions led by mentors called PASS leaders.
We are looking to recruit students who have achieved strong academic results in any of the following units: BMS107, CHE140, MAS164, MAS183, PEN120 and BIO152 with at least a Distinction average across their degree. PASS leaders also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be a current student at Murdoch in 2017.
PASS will commence in Week 2 of Semester 2 and continue until Week 13. Leaders must be able to complete a two-day training program in July before the semester beginning. PASS leaders are paid to run 2-3 one hour sessions per week and prepare for their sessions.
Students interested in applying for leader positions must apply online at:
http://murdochlearn.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_egSwVsepFe3q34N
You are required to:
- Include a brief resume (of not more than two pages),
- Fill out all of the boxes in the initial application form in the above link.
Applicants will be shortlisted for interview based on their resume, academic record, and answers to questions.
An Information Session will be held in Week 13 to assist you with your application. We strongly recommend that you attend this information session to gain a better understanding of the PASS Program and the role of a PASS leader. The Information session will be held on 24th May at the South Street campus.
General information about the PASS program can be found on the PASS website: Murdoch.edu.au/pass if you would like further details on any aspect of the positions before submitting your application, please contact Christopher on 93606840. Application close 2nd June 2017.
Kind regards,
The PASS Team.
