Call to Volunteer at the at 4th international Conference on CSR,Sustainability,Ethics and Governance

We are seeking Expressions of Interest to volunteer at the conference on 26th and 27th July at Murdoch University.
Volunteering is a great way to network while getting a behind-the-scenes look at the conference.
The Centre for Responsible Citizenship and Sustainability wants energetic volunteers to help deliver a successful conference in July.
We need help with everything from running errands to taking care of conference speakers and overseeing conference IT requirements for sessions. This is an opportunity for you to meet with experts and meet with professionals across many industries working in the area of sustainability, corporate social responsibility, ethics and governance.
Volunteers will assist with:
- Welcoming delegates and distributing registration materials
- Guiding delegates to venues
- Liaising with speakers to ensure they have all the necessary equipment
- Welcome attendees as they enter the session rooms, provide session head counts, provide evaluation information to attendees
- Room monitors will be assigned to one room for one day and may request a certain theme or track to liaise and we will try to honour all requests, but these are not guaranteed
To be an excellent volunteer, you will:
- have great communication skills for answering questions and giving conference attendees directions
- follow directions to the letter
- have problem-solving skills, reliability, and lots of energy
- enjoy talking with all sorts of people, from CEOs to students
- be punctual, respectful and helpful
Conditions
- This position is voluntary
- Minimum time commitment: approximately 6 hours on one or both days of conference (Wednesday 26 July and Thursday 27 July)
- Shifts to be negotiated with Volunteer Coordinator
- Volunteers report to the Conference Coordinator
