A professional Careers Advisor will talk you through the fundamentals of effective resume writing for the competitive graduate employment market. Get advice on; - How to formulate an impressive Career Profile Statement - Contemporary formatting and styles - How to identify your skills as a student - The Dos and Don'ts of marketing yourself on paper and targeting your resume effectively to employers. All current students are welcome to attend this presentation - no bookings required but be early to secure a good seat! Those who attend the presentation are encouraged to take up the offer of a practical follow-up session on Thursday 19th September between 12.30 noon - 1.30pm. Take the opportunity to fine-tune your very own resume in a computer lab on campus. NOTE: Only those who attend the "Resumes that Work" presentation will be invited to the follow-up practical session on 19th September.
