"Resumes that Work" Presentation

Get ready for the 2013 Graduate Recruitment Season commencing this March and learn the essentials of a well crafted Resume.


A professional Careers Advisor will talk you through the fundamentals of effective resume writing for the competitive graduate employment market. Get advice on;

-  How to formulate an impressive Career Profile Statement

-  Contemporary formatting and styles

-  How to identify your skills as a student

-  The Dos and Don'ts of marketing yourself on paper and targeting your resume effectively to employers. 

All current students are welcome to attend this presentation - no bookings required but be early to secure a good seat!

Those who attend the presentation are encouraged to take up the offer of a practical follow-up session on Wednesday 13th March between 12.00 noon - 1.00pm.  Take the opportunity to  fine-tune your very own resume in a computer lab on campus.  

NOTE: Only those who attend the "Resumes that Work" presentation will be invited to the follow-up practical session on 13th March.   Bookings essential (go to CareerConnect www.careerconnect.murdoch.edu.au and see under Events). You will also be directed to relevant resources prior to the session and need have available an electronic copy of your resume on a USB stick.
