Murdoch University’s Launchpad, Arup and Schneider Electric are excited to announce the Wireless Workspace Hackathon.

Students, along with the knowledge and technical expertise from Schneider Electric and Arup, will be asked to form cross-discipline teams, develop a solution and pitch to an expert panel of judges over the two-day event.

Arup’s Associate Principal Dave Collins will be sharing his insights on one of his customer’s problems.

Guiding you through the process is the Head of Innovation and Growth at Schneider Electric Pacific Angela Bee Chan, who is also the Founder and CEO of Hackathons Australia. You will also have Jeremy Chetty, Murdoch University’s entrepreneur-in-residence as a helping hand.

Open to all Murdoch students with a passion for business, IT, design and engineering. Cash prizes and corporate immersive experiences will be awarded to the most creative and innovative teams!

There will be an additional information event for Murdoch University students that have registered in the Murdoch University Wireless Workspace Hackathon on 22 August at 12.30pm in the Launchpad.

At this information session the hackathon problem statement and further information will be released over Skype direct from Arup’s Associate Principal Dave Collins.
