Master of Sports Science student Petar Djanis has been elected as President of Murdoch Sports Council for 2019. Petar has a proud history of representing Murdoch at Uni Games, having played basketball and handball. Petar leads the Basketball Club on campus with a vision to improve the profile and status of all sporting groups on campus.

Petar will be assisted by Hussain Alattas who was elected as Vice President. Hussain, a Bachelor of Science student, seeks to improve the student experience and the quality of our sporting groups.

Murdoch Sports Manager Rick Wolters said he is "excited to be working with Petar and Hussain who demonstrate great commitment to sport at Murdoch through club development, facility improvement as well as reinvigorating sport across campus."
