That’s why we have a range of medical and counselling services available to our students, to help support and nurture you every step of the way.

Counselling

The Murdoch University Counselling Service has a team of qualified and experienced counsellors, dedicated to promoting student wellbeing and resilience through online and face-to-face support.

If you’re needing a little extra support or advice, the counselling team has the skills to help you with a wide range of personal, psychological and study-related issues, including:

  • Time management
  • Exam stress
  • Managing emotions
  • Mental health
  • Grief and loss
  • Building resilience

The counselling service is completely confidential and offered free to enrolled students. Additionally, if you need one-on-one help, you can make an appointment with one of our experienced counsellors and receive up to six free sessions per calendar year.

If you're needing support after hours, there are a range of services to help and assist you. These services are specially trained in the area of mental health, and we strongly encourage you to reach out, should you be requiring any assistance:
