We recently launched the Study Any Way campaign to focus on the online Murdoch student experience - the community that exists, the additional support, and the flexibility offered, particularly during Semester 1, 2020.
Two of the students featured in the Study Any Way campaign are Shivani and Nikhil. They're also the familiar faces you see in our Murdoch Ready campaign, an initiative aimed at Year 12 students planning to study at Murdoch in 2021.
Excited about their new-found talents, Shivani and Nikhil ventured through Perth city proudly wearing their Murdoch hoodies over the weekend to take some photos alongside their Murdoch ads.
The campaigns saw Shivani and Nikhil in uncharted territory as they posed for the camera, with both studying courses that are not at all related to being in front of the camera.
Shivani is a fourth-year student who recently completed a Bachelor of Science majoring in Forensic Biology and Toxicology and Biomedical Science. Shivani is now pursuing a neuroscience-based Honours project, and credits her teachers’ support as a stand out in her Murdoch journey so far. Shivani loves studying at Murdoch so much that she encouraged Nikhil, who is a family friend, to join her.
Nikhil began at Murdoch through the OnTrack Sprint program, and within four weeks he had completed the program and was on his way to studying Chiropractic Science. However, studying Chiropractic Science hasn’t stopped Nikhil from pursuing his other passion, DJ’ing. Nikhil even featured on a Murdoch Uni Instagram live takeover, where he DJ’d from his home to our social media audience as part of ‘Music on Bush Court: In Isolation’.
We're incredibly grateful for Shivani and Nikhil's time and enthusiasm. You can read more about Shivani’s experience studying a double major and Nikhil’s journey in studying Chiropractic Science on our website.
If you're passionate about your Murdoch studies and would like your chance to get on camera, or if you have a talent that we should know about, please get in touch. We're always on the lookout for the next Shivani and Nikhil!
