Peel Campus Graduate Certificate in Counselling Information Session

The Graduate Certificate in Counselling will be available at the Peel Campus from 2014. A course information session will be held in Mandurah on the evening of Thursday 10th October 2013.

Murdoch University is pleased to announce that its Graduate Certificate in Counselling will be offered at the Peel Campus from 2014. This course is part of the highly regarded counselling training offered at Murdoch since 2006.

The course will allow graduates to begin developing professional competence toward a career in Counselling.  The Graduate Certificate will also enable graduates to add counselling skills to their existing professional roles in fields such as health, education, social services or business and will allow them to develop skills in specific aspects of counselling such as working with children or groups.

Applicants must hold a recognised Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in any discipline.  The admission process includes both application and interview.

The course can be studied full-time in one semester or part-time over two or three semesters. To enable students to balance their work and study commitments, two of the three units will be conducted during the day on Friday and on Saturday mornings, and a third class taught on Wednesdays.
