As a result of the current weather impacting the Perth and Peel region, the duty assistant commissioner of the Department of Fire and Emergency Services has said the preference of DFES is for commuters to stay off the roads today.
The University supports all students in making individual travel decisions today in the best interest of their safety. Please note that on-campus student teaching and learning activities will proceed as scheduled. If you have concerns that the weather today will impact your learning, please speak with the relevant Unit Coordinator.
The University will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as required. In the meantime, all students are encouraged to follow DFES updates on the https://www.emergency.wa.gov.au website.
