Turnitin Feedback Studio to replace Ouriginal, 2025

Turnitin Feedback Studio, 2025

Assignment 630x380

In 2025, Murdoch University will use Turnitin Feedback Studio as its text-matching tool, replacing Ouriginal. Like Ouriginal, Turnitin is used for assessments submitted via myMurdoch Learning (LMS).

Turnitin compares the text in your assessments, submitted via the LMS, with a large database of academic sources, web pages, and previous student submissions. It produces a Similarity Report, identifying unoriginal, incorrectly referenced, or uncited text, and indicates its original source. Once identified, you can remove any unintentional plagiarism through improved paraphrasing, synthesising and citation skills. This will also help you improve your academic writing skills and increase your understanding of what it means to write with integrity. .

Once you have submitted your assessment, your unit coordinator can access your Similarity Report and will use it as part of the marking process.

To learn more about academic integrity go to Murdoch Academic Passport and Study Success Toolkit
