Open to all Murdoch University students, #ThinkBig2020 invites entrants to focus their attention on six key UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's). Using the SDG's as guiding beacons, what local, national or global issues can be tackled through the innovation of your new business idea?
Students can enter as individuals or as a group and submissions will be in the form of video presentations, judged by a panel consisting of academics, industry professionals and entrepreneurs.
All students will be provided with online learning resources, delivered by entrepreneurs, industry and academics, and will cover the Lean Canvas Business model which will aid in developing your idea.
Once you have developed your idea, you will be required to submit a 6 minute pitch video by Sunday 6 September. The pitch videos will be judged by an internal panel and finalists will be selected to pitch to the panel in a live online final in October.
An overall winning idea will be awarded $10,000 and a people’s choice award will be voted for by the online audience, the winner awarded an industry immersion experience.
