I am very pleased to inform you that this morning, the University received confirmation from our regulator, the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA), that Murdoch University’s re-registration as a Higher Education Provider has been extended to the maximum period of seven years.
We believe that TEQSA’s decision is a vote of confidence in Murdoch’s good standing as a higher education provider and the extension of our registration to seven years is a welcome and important step for the University.
I want to assure you that the work we undertake as a University to meet our regulatory obligations is undertaken with a clear view to improving your experience as a Murdoch University student and to ensure the best possible outcomes for you post study.
With this decision, you - our students - our staff and the broader community can continue to have every confidence that the University will continue to strive to improve our practice for our collective benefit.
