MAN WITH COMPUTER

The Australasian Council for Undergraduate Research (ACUR) are currently holding a research writing competition open to all undergraduate students, including honours students, and students in Singapore and Dubai, speaking to the affects of COVID-19.

Submissions can be a 500-word piece, or A3 poster, on the impacts of COVID-19 on an academic field of your interest.

For example, someone in the field of microbiology could discuss the potential decrease of bacterial infections, due to the increase in hand and personal hygiene in hospitals.

Perhaps psychology students would want to talk about the impact of self isolation caused by COVID-19.

The scope includes economic and historical impacts or any field expected to be impacted is eligible to be written about. It’s up to you!

Prizes include $500 for first place, $300 for second place and $200 for third place. All reasonable entries will also recieve one year free student membership to ACUR.
