  Australia's Knowledge Gateway
  In January 2013 Murdoch University joined the Group of Eight Australian universities and the University of South Australia in the Australia’s Knowledge Gateway. Australia's Knowledge Gateway is a search engine which highlights the activities of Australian researchers and makes them more accessible to business, government, foreign affairs and trade officials, students and the wider community.

  New Guild café opening on Bush Court - 7am to 12pm
  The Guild is launching a new café 'CAFFEINE' located on Bush Court in-between The Guild Shop and The Volunteering Hub. The café opens from 7am and closes at 12 noon - extending our service and covering the morning rush. Look out for our Grand Opening initiatives running throughout Week 14.

  Student Surveys of Units and Teaching
  Semester 1 Unit and Teaching Surveys are now open and emails are being sent to students asking them to complete them. In this final teaching week, please encourage your students to provide this valuable feedback to help you improve your unit and teaching. To complete the surveys, students should login to MOSS - http://moss.murdoch.edu.au/ All surveys submitted will go into a draw to win one of eight Amazon.com vouchers worth $100.

  Health and Counselling Service - New Premises From 27 May 2013
  Murdoch Health and Counselling Service is pleased to announce our new medical premises are complete. From Monday 27th May 2013, the Health and Counselling Service will be located in Building 418 (under the Tavern and next to the Sports Centre). Our counsellors will work out of these premises during June and July, whilst our counselling offices are being refurbished.

  Many staff will have received an opportunity to respond to the Culture Survey, which was sent to 40% of staff on the 3rd May. The survey has been developed in conjunction with the Pacific Institute, to help us better understand the University culture and so guide our leadership and decision-making in a way that will help us to achieve the objectives set out in the Strategic Plan.

  If you had a publication or research output in 2012 you need to ensure it is entered into the University’s Research Management System, IRMA, by the end of May with all relevant support documentation. This information is used to calculate the amount of funding we receive from the Federal Government.
