In collaboration with Fremantle Press for the launch of their Queer YA anthology 'An Unexpected Party', Pride at Murdoch is delighted to present the Pride in Storytelling Panel. This event serves as a platform to unite storytellers, comprising alumni, current students, and staff from various Western Australian universities, to have a conversation about the importance of LGBTIQA+ representation in storytelling, both in and out of curriculum. During this panel discussion, we will explore their work the profound impact their narratives have on readers. Together, we aim to examine the ways to pave the future of representation in both literature and academic spheres. Join us for an insightful conversation along with the opportunity to connect and network over provided food and drink. The panel will also be available to livestream. Registrations are essential.
