Great Cocky Count (GCC) training will be provided by Dr Hugh Finn, a Murdoch researcher and GCC Coordinator from Birdlife Australia.  The training will include cockatoo identification and a practice roost count.  Come to the Law Building, room 1.102, Monday 24 March from 5.30pm.  Although not mandatory, the training will help you get the best results from your participation and ensure Birdlife Australia
gets good quality data from its ‘citizen scientists’.

For more information on the Great Cocky Count, or to sign up for a roost survey in your own neighbourhood, please check out Birdlife Australia WA’s Great Cocky Count webpage.
