Senator Scott Ludlam (Greens WA), in conversation with Associate Professor Mick Broderick (School of Arts) will discuss a range of issues facing Australians that continue to shape our media and culture. Topics covered will include: online and media censorship and classification, media ownership and power, the relevance of public broadcasting (ABC/SBS), tax-payer funding of the arts, implications of bilateral and multi-lateral trade agreements, public/citizen input into reviews and inquires and how you can ensure your voice is heard.
