Young Professionals

Location: Rockingham Campus

The next event for under 30's "Young Professional" a section of the Chamber that is open to under 30 Young business owners, managers/leaders and University staff and students who have an interest in business.


This is an opportunity to listen to two speakers from very different perspectives telling their stories. This session is focusing on making your mark when you are young around the entertainment industry. We also have a guest from the Australian Institute of Management who will give some background into the 30 under 30 awards. Bring your questions and curiosity; there will be an opportunity to pose questions. Drinks and light refreshments will be available afterwards when you have the opportunity to share and network with the speakers and other under 30's from both university and industry.

Kyle Morrison - Actor and Director

Kyle Morrison is an actor of both stage and screen and an accomplished stage director. His background is extensive and diverse. He has had roles in "Heartland", "Bush Patrol", "Lockie Leonard", "The Craic", "Natural Justice: Heat", "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home" and "Twisted Minds". He has directed amongst others Ernie Dingo in "Waiting for Godot" performed Shakespeare Sonnets in Noongar at the Globe Theatre and currently is the Artistic Director of the largest aboriginal theatre in Australia, the Yirra Yaakin Theatre.

Charlie Caruso - Author and Producer

Charlie Caruso is on a mission to change the way of the world. Disenchanted with the current media industry - Charlie is committed to shaking up the media industry and bringing back quality content without the sleaze and spin.

Passionate about the New World of Work and Leadership in the 21st Century, Charlie has been widely recognised for her contribution to ICT and within the start-up space and was listed in the 30 under 30
